Video Encoding

Wow, what a pain.  I have some BluRay disks that I want to rip and encode in a format that my Samsung TV can play.  I have encoded multiple formats and have yet to find a format that works.  The closest I can get is an XVID video encoding with 23.97 fps.  Yet, somehow the video is still choppy in the motion scenes.  Its so annoying because I’m so close to getting it to work but just can’t get all the way there.  If I can just figure out the correct combination of encoding with Xilisoft Ultimate video encoder I will be able to convert all my movies and put them on my 2TB seagate external hard drive.  That would be great.
