Its hard to get started at many things, website design is no exception.  I started to really get into website design about two years ago when I wanted to make a website about railfanning.  Knowing pretty much what I had learned in college, which was before css, I started off on the journey of designing a website.  This task took me a while just to get started and involved many  hours of reading.  Of course the first important thing I leared in website development was the concept of a div tag.  Div tags are meant to give structure to your content.  If you can’t block your content off into chunks then you pretty much just have a mess of code with no discernible structure.  I will continue with the website design information in future posts.
