I’m not that big into the darker beers, but I have to say maybe I just never gave them a chance. I have drank a few in the last couple days that were very good. Samuel Smith’s oatmeal stout fits in with the “quite good” comment. The oatmeal stout has a great taste for a dark beer and not too bitter at all. I found a good Wiki page on Samuel Smith at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Smith_Brewery. Good stuff!
